About Haikus

A haiku is a traditional form of Japanese poetry that has since become popular around the world. Since I can't write Japanese, I've taken a few liberties with the form. While Haikus are usually about nature, mine are about what is natural to me - my day to day life. I do however keep to the classic syllabic form, 5 in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the third.

I'm a recent college graduate and living in a new place and doing new things. Don't get too excited though. One of those new things is a full time job, so I'll have to put a hold on my gallivanting.
